The Golden 1 Credit Union

Individuals who live or work in California are eligible to join Golden 1 Credit Union.

“All Californians can join! If you live or work in California, you are eligible. Just open a Golden 1 savings account with $1.”

Businesses formed in or registered as a foreign entity in California and operating in California qualify for membership.

“Our field of membership includes, but is not limited to, all businesses, corporations, organizations, or other legal entities that were formed in or have foreign entity status in California and also operate in California.”

Family members or registered domestic partners of a current Golden 1 member may join, even if they do not live or work in California.

“Non-Californians may join if they are a family member or registered domestic partner of a current Golden 1 member”

Members of one of nearly 1,000 Select Employee Groups can join. Golden 1 does not publish the list.
