1st United Credit Union

People who live, work or attend school in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, Solano, Stanislaus or Kings County, California, are eligible to join.

“Anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin, Solano, Stanislaus, or Kings Counties, California.”

Immediate family members of a current 1st United member (mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle, sibling, son, daughter, spouse or domestic partner) can join.

Alameda Health System employees can join; 1st United offers membership as part of their benefits package.

“As a partner of Alameda Health Systems, we offer credit union membership as part of your benefits package.”

People who work for a Select Employee Group designated by 1st United may join; the credit union publishes no list, so call (800) 649-0193 to check an employer.

“Any member of one of our many Select Employee Groups (SEGs). A SEG is a company, department, or building designated as an eligible membership group. Call our Member Contact Center at (800) 649-0193 to see if your employer is eligible.”

Employees of the County of Alameda are eligible to join.
